Every Competitor must be a member of the Cornwall
Ladies’ County Golf Association possessing at least one of the following qualifications
as set out in Regulation 6(b) of the Women’s County Golf Regulations in the
England Golf Handbook:

Birth in the County
2.
Residence in the County
3.
Membership of a Club in the County

of Play
January 2013
1.
Handicap limit 20, certificate must be produced
2.
Entries limited to 64 lowest handicaps
3.
36 holes stroke play, qualifying rounds
4.
Entry fee – (as decided annually at Delegates’
Meeting in January): will not be refunded after closing date
5.
Ties will be decided on the second 18, 9, 6, 3, 1
holes
6.
32 lowest gross scores will qualify, in two
flights
7.
The first 16 to compete for the Championship
in match play: if all square after 18 holes, to play on until either player
wins a hole. The Final will be played over 36 holes: if all square after 36
holes, to play on until either player wins a hole.
8.
The second 16 to compete for the Plate, 18
holes each round. If all square after 18
holes, to play on until either player wins a
hole.
9.
The 8 losers in the first round of the
Championship, to compete for the Advanced Plate in match play, 18 holes
each round. If all square after 18
holes, to play on until either player wins a hole.
10.
The Hon Secretary or Competition Secretary will
arrange times of starting and playing partners
11.
Competitors may not engage a
professional or assistant professional as a caddie (Rules of Golf 6-4 and Rule
33-1)
12.
Players shall walk at all times unless prior
permission for use of a buggy has been sought from the Committee which will
only be granted on presentation of a medical certificate indicating long-term
difficulty (See Rules of Golf 33-1).
13.
Only Active Handicaps will be acceptable.
14.
Handicap Certificates must be no more than 2
months old
15.
Distance Measuring Devices will be permitted
16.
